This course offers a comprehensive overview of testing Passive Optical Networks (PON) and point-to-point networks. Participants will learn to configure an OTDR correctly and understand how specific parameters influence testing outcomes.

Furthermore, the curriculum includes methods for identifying reflective and non-reflective events using the two-point measurement technique. It includes troubleshooting and complete analysis of FTTx access and backhaul network during construction. 

This course is designed for technicians and engineers working in and around the Outside Plant environment.
